Tutoring & Enrichment

Free program features a mix of tutoring and enrichment activities.

  • Monday to Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Dinner provided
  • Limited bus transportation available

We partner with Nashville After Zone Alliance to provide two community-provided afterschool programs, one on-site at Wright and one off-site at the Coleman Community Center.

On-site NAZA Program

Hosted by Nashville Immigrant Center for Empowerment (NICE), the NICE program meets at Wright Middle School Monday-Thursday. Students can apply for bus transportation to drop them off after the program. This program is a great place for students new to the United States or those working to learn English to come together and build their language and literacy skills through enriching activities, guest presenters, and community building.

You can apply for this program on the NAZA website.

Off-site NAZA Program

Located at Coleman Community Center, this program features tutoring, enrichment, physical activity, and holistic youth development for students in grades 6 to 8. Students accepted into the program will ride the MNPS bus to Coleman Park each day. Parents must pick their students up at Coleman Park at 6:00 PM, as no drop-off transportation is provided.

You can apply for this program on the NAZA website.
