Welcome to Wright Middle Magnet

Principal Lester Diverse

Lester Duverce
Principal

It is an honor to welcome you to Wright Global Media and Mass Communications Middle Magnet School, a community where students are encouraged to grow and discover their potential. As a servant leader, people always come first. My commitment is to create a school where every decision is guided by what is best for our students.

Middle school is a pivotal time in a young person's life. It is a time to build confidence, strengthen academic skills, discover new interests, and prepare for the future. At Wright, we want every student to feel safe, supported, and encouraged to take on new challenges. We believe mistakes are part of learning, relationships matter, and every student has the ability to succeed.

As the son of Haitian immigrants, I understand the power of education to open doors. My parents came to America so their children could have opportunities they never had. That experience continues to shape my work as an educator. I want every Wright student to see a future filled with opportunity and new possibilities, whether that’s through academics, athletics, related arts, or experiences beyond the classroom.

Families are the heart of our school community, and I look forward to building strong partnerships with you. Together, we can create an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.

Thank you for choosing Wright Middle School. I look forward to getting to know your family, celebrating our students' successes, and working together to make this an exceptional year for every member of our school community.
