As a Global Media and Mass Communications Magnet, our students don’t just learn—they create, communicate, and connect with the world. We link rigorous academics with real-world experiences in journalism, graphic design, television, podcasting, and more. Our project-based approach builds critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills that last a lifetime.

We’re proud to serve nearly 700 students who speak more than two dozen languages, making our school a vibrant, inclusive community where every voice matters. Wright Middle sets high expectations and provides opportunities for students to broaden their horizons, including:

•       Six TSSAA sport options

•       Mariachi band, traditional band, choir, and drama

•       Experiential learning and enrichment opportunities at all grade levels

•       Media related partnerships and field trips

•       Student court and ambassador programs

•       New and existing after-school programs like gardening, e-sports, tutoring, and creative writing
